About 3 months ago, we cleared off a 6 foot by 8 inch photo ledge. Basically a mini wall (4 3-4 feet high) separating my kitchen from living room with a ledge top. I don't remember why we did it, but certainly it was annoying when the younger cat would break a frame now and then. Anyway, since that time, my cats have consistently played literally twice as much, with multiple ledge battles EVERY day. This is a 6 and 2 year old cat, that suddently doubled their play, and it seems permanent.
