Does anyone have any idea why or what causes Thomas to get phlemgy when he purrs? When he sits in my lap and is purring away, he starts to sound like he has a bunch of phlegm in his throat, and he starts to choke or swallow it back really hard. He never coughs or anything, just the sound and the hard swallowing. It doesn't happen at any other time, and normally he sounds fine. It's just when he's been purring for a long time. Once he stops purring it goes away rather quickly and he's fine again. I just thought I'd ask b/c he was just in my lap purring and it happened again.
