During the summer months I had been spraying Peppermint on my bed linens to keep little no-see-ums away.
Now I have read that it could be dangerous for cats to breathe in that spray on the bed and wonder if unknowingly I have damaged my cat in any way.
How dangerous IS peppermint spray?
Thanks for your opinions.
Stay safe.

No idea on the peppermint front but don’t switch to lavender! It had a very bad effect on my cat…lots of wheezing and drooling. I would ask your vet to be sure…please let us know. And I know basil is OK but, that probably doesn’t have and sway w/ no see ums.

IMO, peppermint spray on the bed - as long as it has dried long before that cat comes into contact with it - is probably not a big issue.

Thank you both for your replies. Into the trash goes the Lavender.
