At a rest stop over the weekend, while waiting for my companions to finish their coffee, I watched a stray cat trying to pass through the exit doors. When somebody came in or go out, the door would close too fast for him. So I got up, slowly walked pass the cat and held the door open for him. I like to think he looked back and thanked me.
My companions laughed but I saw a few people nod, approving my actions.
