Ziggy is almost 3 years. old. Has always been a super-polite cat with awesome litter box habits. The only time I've ever witnessed him spraying was right before he was neutered. He does go outside, and uses the facilities out there, but when he's inside it's never been a problem. He does prefer his box to be super clean...if there's a clump or 2 he will yell at me and I scoop it, nbd. So about 3 weeks ago, right about sunrise, he got up in my bedroom window to survey his kingdom as is his usual morning routine. Well, he started yowling and fussing and I just figured he wanted to go out, but I didn't let him (partly because I am not about to get up at 4:45 am and partly because I don't want him to think that I'm at his beck and call if you know what I mean.) Well he proceeded to pee in my bed, right next to (or on) my husband. Like a real squat and pee. Naturally I blamed myself and said I should've let him out, box wasn't scooped, my fault. Jump ahead to yesterday morning: Sunrise perusal of the grounds in the window, starts yowling, then proceeds to stand in my bed and spray all over my husband. I walk him to his box, he poops, I scoop it, change the sheets, and attempt to put my head back down for a few minutes. He walks over to my side of the bed (while he's still on the floor) meows in my face and sprays all over the wall and curtains that are next to my bed. Ideas?
