Parmesan cheese?

I know it is used as a topper, but can you give too much?

Anything harmful in giving a tablespoon a day?

It is throughout the day. And I sprinkle it in a shallow dish of water too.

do you give any other treats? treats are not to exceed 10% of a cat's daily calories. so, if you can fit it in the treat portion, it should be ok.

Usually no other treats. My cat is 16 lbs. and on the slim side. I just don't want to do anything harmful.

you should be good. at 16 lbs, your cat must be getting at least 320 calories per day, if slim. so, a tablespoon of Parmesan is fine.

Some people use Nutritional Yeast from the health food store. It smells like parmesan cheese. I think a lot of vegans use this to have cheese flavor.

Parmesan cheese has a lot of salt in it. I wouldn't think salt is a good idea.
