I'm not a huge fan of them. I mean I love the style and the idea of them, but not the price of them! I know there is mark up in jewelry (trust me I work at a metal buying company!) but I think its kind of crappy that a single charm sometimes cost the same or even twice what an ounce of silver is worth...
I think I may look into getting one of the off brand ones and then only getting any of the pandora charms if I absolutely cannot find it anywhere else.
I have one. Hubby bought it for me for my Birthday, along with 1 charm. Then for Christmas I got another charm, our anniversary and then Mothers day I got one for each.
I have the 4 charms, and each means a whole lot to me. Many women around here have 4 or more filled Pandoras going up their arms. One told me her husband just brings home filled bracelets. (That's 65 dollars plus per charm!!)
I prefer collecting slowly. Each Charm represents alot of thought and planning.
The 3 types I can get around here are the Pandora, Persona and Chamilia
They're all basically the same thing, all the charms fit on all 3 bracelets, so if you have a Pandora bracelet you can buy the Persona charms, etc etc.
I don't like the looks of them totally filled, I think it looks cheesy but that's just my opinion, I think they look cute with 1-3 charms on them, maybe 1-2 more depending on the size.
I am NOT a jewelry person AT all, I wear 1 ring and that's it...but the boys and Craig always have a hard time shopping for me and I would be like you resqchick, each piece would mean alot if they picked them out
