I wanted to post some of my favorite pictures of the boys growing up on their actual birthday March 24th but I was having Internet issues.
For anyone who does not know 1 year ago I rushed to the vet with Ella, their mother, when she was having difficulties delivering her kittens. It was discovered Ella had a kitten stuck and she was giving up, so she had an emergency c-section. About 9pm, 3 hours after the vet office had officially closed and I was left waiting in the empty waiting room, I was brought out a very groggy Ella, and 4 little kittens. I could have left them at the vet over night, but I wanted them home with me, and I was in contact with the emergency vet if for some reason I needed to go there. It didn't take long to realize Ella's milk hadn't dropped and per the E-vets advice I ran to the store to get milk and a bottle and began feeding the tiny little guys, with lots of calls to the E-Vet because I had no idea what I was doing as I had never done it before at that time. That was the longest night of my life as I was learning how to feed the babies and they were learning to take the bottle I would no sooner finish a feeding before they were screaming for the next. I lost the female kitten at 6 days and was crushed, but I kept telling myself I had to make sure to keep making sure I did everything I could for the other 3. Luckily no problems occurred with the boys and they continued to thrive and grow into wonderful little cats. Me and my boys formed the strongest bond I have ever had with any other animal and I would not change that for anything. They are worth the sleepless nights, stress and worry that I was a constant for the first few weeks of their life. I cant imagine life with out these guys. They sleep with me every night, comfort me when I am sad. make me laugh with their antics, worried me when they were sick and were neutered, and even have made me mad when they get into mischief and break my favorite lamp, but I love them more than anything else and that will never change.
Sorry this might be long
