Outdoor Cat Keeps Yelling

My outdoor cat keeps yowling and rolling around. It is hot outside, about 97 degrees, but she is always outside and has never acted like this before. I have her in a cage now and she is rolling around, still yowling, and pooping (whole poop, not diarrhea). What could be causing this?

She also keeps licking herself.

Is there a possibility she was injured? It sounds like she may be in pain. Call the vet right away.

Definitely vet. Could be a bite of some sort to which she is having a reaction, but if it is that time could be important.

That is not normal behavior, she needs to see a vet.

I guess it was the heat. I gave her some Pedialyte and tuna juice and brought her in the house. She has calmed down a bit, but her heart is still beating fast. I am just trying to get her to drink more fluids. I live in a rural area, so the nearest vet is about 45 minutes-1 hour away.

I also checked for injuries or bites, but I didn’t see anything unusual.

Is she spayed?

I brought her to the vet and he said that she had some type of congenital heart problem. She ended up dying a couple hours later.
