I was up at my computer at 5 am this morning as I could not sleep, and Ali and hubby were in bed asleep.

Ali came running out of the bedroom howling and crying, and got me to go with her.

I had an awful time getting hubby up, and he was slurring his words and out of it.

I took his blood sugar and it was 70 and dropping which is dangerous for an insulin dependent diabetic.

Oldest son and I got him up and got orange juice down him and got his blood sugar where it should have been.

I would not have checked on him for another hour and he could have easily slipped into a diabetic coma.

Ali saved his life and this is not the first time.

She is our hero.

Ty and she has come to get me several times when his oxygen has stopped working and when he had quit breathing.

That's powerful! I swear our animals have senses that we just can't comprehend. So glad you have such a great companion, but that you also take time to listen to her!
