other cats hate cone of shame

my cat tofu came home from eye surgery today and she sadly needed the cone of shame and surprise surprise my other 3 cats are like who are u? any advice on re- introducing them? should i take the steps like how i would if tofu was actually a new cat, slowly introducing her to the boys, or what should i do?

Hi, Hopefully it isn't the cone itself, because this can help for the vet smell;

either with vanilla or raw coconut (which still has fragrance) ;

You put a dab of vanilla extract under the chins, at the base of their neck (by the spine) and at the base of the tail (again, on the spine not the underside of the tail!) of all of the cats to make them smell the same. Cats recognize each other by scent, so if that kitty smells the same as "me", then he must be a friend. Kitty logic at it's finest.
This trick works when introducing cats into the household as well, or during a reintroduction after a redirected aggression event.

Also, it's possible that low volume Cat Music can help them too

Sorry for the double post, but if you happen to use synthetic vanilla and they're still cranky with each other, you might try this.

I recommend real vanilla, not the synthetic stuff, which is very different to a cat's nose.

Catnip works really well too. Just use based on your cats.

If your cats get calm with catnip, give during introductions as a distraction.

If they get hyper use it before to help wear them out.
