Hey all, first post here and hope to get some good feedback. Fun story; was minding my own business when I hear cries from my WALL! After a few minutes of careful listening and (two holes later) I was able to recover from my wall a beautiful Grey Medium Hair kitten. A couple days later I hear the same and after only one home this time recover number two! B9th kittens are or were at the time under 3 or 4 weeks old and of course not weaned. Bottle fed and happy I have this little guy, who the more I look, has a lot of traits of a Bengal. Obviously he is not a pedigree or bred and possibly has some mix in him. He is without a doubt unique looking and just am looking for thoughts and opinions. I may pay for the DNA but only after inahve some solid opinions from all of you wonderful people. 5736.jpeg 20180710_005903.jpg 20180710_013305.jpg 20180710_002500.jpg 20180710_002641.jpg 20180710_002500.jpg

I am no expert but I wouldn't think Bengal, I would think domestic short haired tabby looking at this baby. Plus the likelihood of a litter of Bengals on the loose is pretty slim. Regardless of our thoughts and the possibility it IS in fact a domestic shorthair unless you found some papers in the wall there  or you get a DNA test done. Cute nonetheless.

Spots on the tummy aint no indicium; many tabbies has them.
I see one of them has some spots on the side. And thus could prob be counted as spotted.

But its not the typical bengal rosetted.
There exists plain spotted bengals but no Byb is having them: no big bizness in these.

You do have a wonderfull house producing wonderful nice sweet tabby kittens in its walls.

But these arent bengals nor fresh mixes.

    Tx for saving these lives!

Forgive the weird dopey picture, but this is the only clear picture I have of my girl's tum.

This is our little brown tabby. (Though you can't see it super clearly) She has lots of little black spots on her tummy. Also, she obviously loves her daddy. <3

Not a Bengal mix, but still beautiful. That pattern and those spots are common. I've seen a ton of rescue kittens pass through these doors with them. To me, it looks like you've just got a tabby kitten. Adorable baby nonetheless, though, and in their own eyes, every cat is a leopard.

He is a complete ham whatever he is, thank you for the input, it's nice to know that, other than being a wall cat, he is just a handsome kitty

Oh, Bengal or not, he's a handsome chap. I see why his pattern would stand out. His markings are quite... remarkable?

    ... I'll see myself out.

Mark my words, I do hope you're a glutton for punishment as a pun war with me can go all day. I've earned my pun warrior stripes. So ask yourself, is this battle of words tabby or not tabby?

@MistyDawn - You're off topic; tabby or not tabby - that is the question.

Cleverly spotted. I should send you a bundle of rosettes for getting back on without breaking our streak.

@Chefsouth757 I'm so sorry we've coated your thread with our furocious exchange. It's 1CatOverTheLine's fault. Blame him. :paperbag:

I don't see any bengal, they stand out for rosettes and "glitter", any other markings/patterns they have are also common among domestic cats. I love me a striped kitty though and he is super cute. Needs a fierce name.
