Opie is the best-behaved of my cats. I attribute this to his age (4 1/2) and being an only cat, before we got him.
Rowdy and Buddy have an excess of youthful exuberance and tend to romp, quite a bit. We will hear a thump or crash, in another room and Opie will come flying to where we are, jump onto Bill's lap and meow, yowl and carry on. It sounds as if he's tattling on the other two.
Last night, shortly after I went to bed, I heard Opie swearing at Rowdy. They were in the living room - I don't understand the words but I recognize the tone of voice. Opie then jumped into bed, sat next to me and gave me an earful.
He acts just like my brothers and I did, snitching each other out, to Mom.
