The other day I was going through my file box cleaning out old receipts etc and have a large trash bag about 1/2 full of shredded up papers. While I was going through the box and shredding paper, Spencer was having a grand time hiding inside the bag and playing in the paper.
This afternoon I was gathering up the trash for my neighbour to take out for me this evening. I added some stuff to the shredded paper bag and tied it up and put it next to the door and sat down at the computer to rest my back.
Not even a minute later I hear rustling from the direction of the door. I looked over and thought one of the kittens was playing with the garbage bags. Nope. No one there. So I thought I was hearing things.
Then I heard it again. I looked back, and again, nothing. So I assumed it was the neighbours across the hall bringing in some groceries or something.
Then the rustling got more frequent, and I saw the bag move. I went over and felt the bag, which prompted him to attack my hands from inside the bag. I untied it and the little weirdo wouldn't get out of the bag! He wanted to stay in there and play!
I took him out, made sure there was no other kitty in the bag and tied it up again!
I've gotten into the habit of looking in closets, cupboards and the fridge before I close doors, but now it seems I need to look into bags before my garbage goes out too!
He's no worse for wear. He was in the bag for less than 3 minutes tops! And there were lots of holes in the bag from his adventures yesterday, so there was lots of air.
He's now inspecting all of my groceries!! Silly boy!
