My daughter and I were talking about our dear departed Persian, Bomber, about how similar he was to Oliver in his personality and the way he used to meow and react to certain things as Oliver does now. Bomber's colouring was the same too and we reckon Bomber died about the same time as Oliver was born.
So, in memory of Bomber, we've decided that Oliver is Bomber.
I don't believe it really so the above is tongue-in-cheek but it's a nice thought and a way of keeping Bomber's memory alive.
I'm having it both ways here, similar to the way I don't believe walking under a ladder brings bad luck but I avoid it anyway but not in an obsessive way. I suppose this attitude is similar to the Pascal's wager argument.
Any one else who likes to keep their cake and eat it?
