Hi all,
Having an issue at the moment. We got a kitten about a month ago and as we suspected our older cat doesn't like him. The biggest issue we are having is that our older cat won't is the litter tray and we have found about 4 times that she has went upstairs.
She urinated on our bed twice so we have ended up having to lock them out of our bedroom because of it. We found a little poop on our spare room and tonight we have found both in the same spot. She must be using the litter tray as we can see the difference from the size from the kitten to the older cat however my partner is becoming extremely annoyed at this happening. I am also at my whits end
We have tried placing two litter trays down in the same place but the kitten is just in there messing around. We really don't want to put a litter tray upstairs as our house has carpets where as the litter tray currently is on wood flooring.
Really not sure what to do about this now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!
This is becoming a nightmare. She will sit in a room with him but mostly spends her days upstairs. We don't want to end up having a situation where one cat lives upstairs and the other downstairs.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions. I'm pretty desperate right now.
