How I have missed this place. I was a fairly active member of this site a couple years ago, yet life and computer problems left me unable to be with you good people. I have a new computer and a wonderful new life! I still have my babies with one sad exception, my Mother cat, Baby, was was carelessly let outside by one of my children (who was old enough to know better
) and I searched the neighborhood, shelters and pound for her with no success. Needless to say I no longer live with my children anymore and have never quite forgiven her for loosing my Baby. I still have the rest of my brood, and the little girl Dimpy took over the mother role in the house. The pecking order has shifted since then and my "redheaded stepchild" Loco has become the leader of the pack. He was the outsider then because Baby never did accept him, as he appeared on my doorstep when her kittens were only a few weeks old, and she saw him as an interloper. We are all one big happy family now (most of the time, unless Loco is asserting his authority as the dominant male) living in a loft style apartment. It is good to be back, and I do have some questions about behavior as they are a lively bunch with some strong personalities.
