odd kitten colour

I have a birman cat and her cross bred kitten. Mum is cream with dark brown points. Dad is unknown. Both are long haired cats.

Bubs started as black but now at 8wks old is a bit unusual and id like opinions on her colour.

From a distance she still appears black but close up her fur is silver at its base then black the brown at the tips. She also has a small white spot under her chin. Ive tried to take photos but besides shes a wriggle bum the camera doesnt pick up the colour differences.

Any suggestions on her eventual colour?

I suspect she is smoke-colored.  Black smoke in her case.  

Re the photo:  If you have a camera where you can force the opening ("aperture")   to be bigger, do so, at least one full step, perhaps even two.   Its often called EV on the camera, and is graded in 1/thirds....

Thanks for that. I just googled pics of black smokes and she matched several cats there :-)
