Odd Cat for Oklahoma

I am stumped on what type of cat we found as a stray. It really doesn't matter to me just curious.

He is really talkative and super friendly.

Oddly enough when we took him to the vet to see if he had owners. His chip had that he was from Hawaii on it and I live in Oklahoma.

He’s a blue and white domestic shorthair. Were the vets able to get in touch with his owners?

He seems to be a domestic. So yeah, a little odd a domestic from Hawaii is in continental USA... I suppose his owner took a vacation, and he got lost. The possibility high its somewhere near your place. Although its not unheard off cats astray got ride with some car...

If he were apparently a pure bred, he could get lost while doing stud services, or being in a Show. I know of several such examples.

They found that the owner lived in Oklahoma and reached out. But the owner never got back to them and that was about 4 months ago. Guess he is ours now.

What a fine boy! You'd think that someone who paid to move their cat from Hawaii to the Mainland would value him enough to keep his microchip info up to date and want him back, but I guess you never know what's going on in someone's life.
