odd bugs on the cat!

hi there, i hope you all can help me out. i've been noticing these bugs on my cat recently. they're sort of elongated black bugs. i ran my finger over one & it *crawled* to another part of her face. it didn't jump or anything. i don't think they're fleas....i mean, i've seen fleas in the past & these bugs definitely don't look like fleas to me. any ideas?

actually that sounds exactly like fleas to me...but maybe someone else will come along with another suggestion...

how big are the bugs? sounds worry some, maybe you need to take your kitty to a vet?

If it's what I'm thinking, they are fleas... At least that's what I've always been told. Maybe another sex?

I far prefer these crawlie fleas over the jumpy fleas. They're much easier to get rid of IMHO.

Maybe someone else knows the difference in crawlies and jumpies...

WE went friom long brown jumpers to small black jumpers. i hate them. Getting flea junk tomorrow. Im not about to bath 9 teen cats with very sharp ails. NO WAY

It sounds like fleas to me. I hate it when I look at one of my kittys and a flea zipps across his or her face. EWWW!
