Hi there!
I have flame point Himmies that have been eating only Nutro Dry. Last year I switched them to Solid Gold (katz n flocken) and they loved it! Their coats were even more glorious.
A couple weeks later Chloe developed a UTI. The vet suspected it was a combo of stress (we were moving and the realtors were showing the place 2-3 times a week) and the addition to the new food. We gave her medicine, she went back to using the box religiously and switched to her usual Nutro dry.
Then I hear about this recall. I know I have read it only effects wet food, but I can't help but think if that will change. I think Nutro works for my cats because of the PH levels amd cranberries used in the dry food. I have wanted to try other brands such as California or Innova, but I am always thinking "will this bring back her UTI?"
