Nursing kitten.

This little kitten has been nursing on this cat for 4 hours now. Thats only the time i have been awake.

The cat isnt Even her mom. Her mom is Black and white and her dad looks like her.

This is her brother who doesnt nurse. Just lays there.

And people told me the big cat is a boy. They said that they saw a ball sack.

Is this an issue?

How old are the kittens?

Whether it is an issue depends on one thing and one thing alone- are both kittens gaining weight?  You should be weighing them both daily. Weight gain should be steady (though a drop or holding at the same weight for one day MAY be okay, it is never okay if it goes on for more than one day, and at one day should be considered a cause for real concern) and at a rate of about 10 grammes or 1/3 ounce per day approximately. If it is more than this that is great.  If it is a LITTLE less that is also okay, but if it is consistently more than 1 or 2 grammes less, that is a problem.

If the kitten is not gaining weight at this rate, you will need to bottle feed him.  If that is the case please let us know ASAP and we can give you detailed instructions.
