Yet another page in the saga of the quest for Liz to be restored to health...
Backstory: After she seemed to be all-but-improved with her intestinal/liver/white blood cell issues, she developed a terrible rash around her ears, head, and parts of her body. On top of it, she's extremely lethargic (doesn't want to play, move, etc.) Vet doesn't think it's mites, given how widespread the condition seems to be. They did a biopsy on Friday and we're waiting for the results Tuesday or Wednesday.
In the meantime, we've had her at the vet, every day since Friday (Friday: biopsy; Saturday morning: raging fever; this morning [vet's day closed -- she's that nice]: checkup of fever at vet's request.)
Liz pooped on the exam table Friday, but I don't think she's peed since ... I'm not sure -- at least not since Saturday morning. It's not 3:45pm Sunday. She has been eating/drinking over the weekend. The vet felt her today and said her bladder feels empty (which may worry her if it's not making urine), but we're supposed to wait and she if she goes tonight. She gave her some subcutaneous fluids to fill up the bladder.
The Present: My problem is not knowing when to worry. The vet gave her the sub-q around 10:45am today still no peeing. Is this normal for a cat who has been dealing with a fever on and off and who is just generally "sick"?
