Not a problem just weird; he drools when I brush him 🤷🏻‍♀️

Does anyone else have a cat that turns into a drool puuurrr baby when you brush them? Why does he do it?

On a semi related note, I’m still looking for a hairball medicine he will willingly eat. I have now tried 3 brands, chicken & salmon flavors. He eats mainly wet so a hairball dry food will not work. He likes to attack/chew on the brush when I’m done brushing him.

Mani OK thank you! He drools when he nurses on his binkie (blanket) just never when I brushed him before. I guess he really likes the brush!

Mine also drools when being brushed, but I think it's because I hold a bag of special treats in my other hand. It is A LOT of drool, though, with drops falling somewhat rapidly onto the carpet.

My boy Charlie drools when we brush or pet him. It's like he gets so relaxed and happy he just forgets how to swallow!

Some cats are just big droolers when they are happy and being brushed apparently is very enjoyable to your guy. My newest cat is a huge drooler when I pet her so I lay a towel across my lap when I do to prevent wet jeans.
