NMHP in HC is hosting it's fourth "We can do it too" conference with two key speakers - Julie Bank of Maricopa County [Phoenix] Animal Care and Control, Arizona and Dr. Julie Levy, professor at University of Florida Vet School. The purpose of this conference is to inform Hillsborough County animal rescue groups and concerned citizens about the efforts of two key recipients of Maddie's Fund grant funding, and how to work closer with animal control to increase adoptions, decrease euthanasia and increase spay/neuters in our pet community. The conference will start at 9:00 a.m. and end at approximately 2:00 p.m. Cost: Tickets will be $25 and include a vegetarian buffet lunch. E-mail [email protected] for information on how to register.
