Hi My boy MaXx would like to introduce his new brother DaXx.. they just met yesterday and it seems to be going well. There was one pounce whimper from new baby, keeping an eye.. MaXx just turned one.. anything i should be made aware of.

They r both going to the Vet today. DaXx is 8 weeks old and has been fixed. They r both very sweet. I got 10 minutes of sleep last night! Im too old to be a new mom!

It sounds to me like MaXx has decided that, as the oldest and biggest, he's the top cat in the household and DaXx is no threat; that would explain why the introduction is going so well.

My only warnings would be things you already know about -- always make sure there isn't a kitten under your foot before you put your weight on it, expect more things to be knocked off of tables and counters than usual, and don't be too surprised if a weaned kitten is more wakeful at night than you're used to and thinks that means you should be more wakeful at night than you're comfortable with.
