Newman The Ragdoll

Our Louie has been at loose ends since George died. He is clingy and seems depressed. We have developed to get a Ragdoll kitten. Newman is 12 weeks old tomorrow. I hope to bring him home Saturday but we are in North Carolina and the weather is iffy this weekend with Florence coming ashore. Anyway he should be coming home soon and we hope that as he and Louie get to know each other that they will be good friends.

I picked Newman up this morning. He is settled in his room. He has used his litter box, had a snack, played a wand toy game session with me and now settled for a nap. He and Louie sniffed under the door and exchanged a bit of paw touching. Louie hissed a few times most lost interest pretty quickly and is now napping in the cat tree. I hope all of that bodes well for a smooth introduction.
