Hi, my name's Cindy and I've been to the CatSite many times before & just decided to join. My two cats are Winston and Torch. (Am not able to put pictures up yet, sorry
I've been a cat lover (and animal lover in general) forever and got married to a non-cat-lover almost three years ago. (His father is severely allergic to dogs & cats) I didn't have any pets at the time, but after six months of marriage talked him into getting a kitty. We adopted Winston, who's now 3, from a rescue center, and my husband is now a cat lover as well. Winston's a gray and black tabby, very sweet and sociable. He will walk on a leash and he's friendly to everyone he meets. He can be too vocal sometimes, and he's been getting chubby the last year or so, so he's now on a diet, but that's the only complaint.
Torch's full name is Bengalmaniacs' Golden Torch, and he is a Bengal. We decided Winston needed a playmate. My husband wanted a Bengal, and I just wanted a kitten in general, so we brought home this tiny ball of golden fur and leopard spots when he was eight weeks old. He's now a year and a half old, and he's incredibly beautiful, very active and entertaining, and a sweet little lap cat sometimes. He hasn't gotten as big as we'd hoped (his sire is 22 pounds of pure muscle) but that's probably cause he's neutered. He is scared of other people, and he HATES other cats except for Winston, but he's a wonderful pet for the two of us, so I can't complain. Winston and Torch get along great and play together almost all day long. They are truly family members and I hope they're with us a very long time.
