Hii! My nickname/username is RainCloud. I have four cats.
The oldest one, who is about 14 (we can't remember the year we got her, so we guesstimate within two years. besides, we adopted her from a shelter and they had no idea how old she was), she's a FAT calico (imagine like 5 people disobeying the feeding schedule...she was the lucky recipient of this unfortunate situation haha). Her name is Holly and she lives with my dad. We wanted her to come live with me but she doesn't travel well so we left her at my dad's house so she wouldn't be stressed.
The next two oldest belong to my fiance and I. They are Maine Coon mixes, we think. Their names are Hugin and Munin, which means Thought and Memory in Norse. They are two years old, as of October 2010. They are a money drain and have tons of health problems but we love them anyways (snuggliness can make up for nearly everything). Hugin is orange and white, with a gorgeous fluffy tail that he loves to fluff at dogs so they chase him. Munin is tabby and white. Oh, and Hugin eats anything. Corn, whole grain cereal, beans, pizza (that was not purposeful. My fiance put his pizza down, turned around, and this cat was eating it x.x), anything. If I drop something on the floor that would be harmful to him, its a fight to keep him from it.
The youngest is a our accidental cat, Cara. She is named after a Mord'Sith from Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth novels, and a valkyrie. She's fierce, even though she's our youngest and tiniest cat (she's a little overweight but we're working on that). When she was a small kitten (two owners before we got her), she was severely abused by some drug addicts so she has a fear of any water that is not pure and won't eat anything but cat food (not even plain chicken or tuna fish!). She really doesn't get along with Hugin but they're getting friendlier (they've only been together for 6 months). I say she's accidental because I offered to care for her for a couple months while her owner moved. A few days before my birthday, her owner dropped her and her stuff off on my porch and called to say congrats on our new cat haha. I call her my birthday present
She's super sweet and snuggly but she really needs to be in a house with no other cats because she's super stressed right now. Hopefully, I'll be able to give her to my best friend soon! I won't give her to just anyone though. She was my birthday present, my baby! *EDIT: Cara is 5 months younger than the Maine Coon mixes. She will turn 2 in May*
Umm, if you're still with me, yea. That's about all. Those are my cats and I have very little life outside them. I joined this forum because the two Maine Coon mixes have been getting ill lately and I really need somewhere to turn since I live alone and the other forum I frequent is tired of hearing about my cats haha.
