Hey everyone - I've been a member here for several weeks but I never formally introduced myself. However, I'm always chiming in on the health and nutrition forum. I have two cats - Buster and Holly Golightly. I found both of them on the street. Buster is the dark tabby and Holly is the red tabby with the cone on her head. She's a new addition to the family. I found her at the KFC/Pizza Hut in Oakland, which is located in a rough neighborhood. She was very feral at first and we had a difficult time bonding for the first three months. However, she's changed a lot since undergoing surgery for an abscess last month. Buster, who's lived with me since 2000, isn't so happy about Holly and bit her face (hence the surgery). But they are getting along better these days.
I have loads of experience with constipation issues and can help with that issue. Buster has been dealing with megacolon since March and it's been a nightmare. Holly periodically suffers from asthma attacks but her health has improved ever since she stopped hanging out from under the bed. If anyone needs help with these areas, I would happy to offer some advice. Plus, I know a little about feral cats.
Here they are!
