Hi everyone!
I am brand new to this forum, so I thought the best thing to do was come introduce myself! I am a full-time wife to the most wonderful husband in the world!
We just moved to Illinois so he could take a new position as a full-time music pastor at a church here. We also just bought our first house! We knew we wanted pets right away, and our senior pastor had a cat that just had 3 kittens....so, as soon as they were weaned we went and picked them up. I grew up with cats, but I still feel like a first-time cat owner because before my parents always took them to the vet, etc. I'm glad I found this forum so I can get advice when needed and share my cute photos and stories with other cat-lovers!
About my kittens, they are plain old domestic cats (the best kind, IMHO), probably medium haired when they get bigger. Two are girls, and one is a boy. (Whoops! One of the girls was sleeping on the desk and almost fell of the edge just now! Good thing the keyboard caught her!) If you click on the pic below you can see them in their favorite napping spot...my lap, of course!http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3066/...05e8592124.jpg
The darkest colored tabby on the left is Maggie, who seemed shy at first but is now the first one into everything and constantly wanting to play. The medium colored one in the center is Max, my loud-mouthed little boy who tells us EVERYTHING. Then there is Molly, the smallest and most cuddly one, with the lightest gray tabby markings and a hint of Siamese coloring. I look forward to sharing more of their photos and stories with you all, and to reading all of yours!
Thanks for having us!
