Hi everyone! I guess there is where I can post fun little bio things about me. To begin with, and most importantly, I only have one little fuzzy baby, named Luke. Yes, the Force is strong in him.
I've had many little fuzzy babies in my time, but sadly they've all passed on. The most traumatic was a darling longhaired black and white tom named Tucker. I'll never forget the way he came wailing into the house and collapsed in my lap. He was one of those few and far-between soul mates and true friends. He was stung by a scorpion and died while at the vet's office. The most recent passing was a Siamese mix sweetheart named Mon. Although very careful outside, she darted in front of a car and died instantly. The next day I found a chocolate point mix who I later named Luke abandoned on the side of the road near a Walgreens after several days of heavy storms. He was a sad sight to see, especially with the nerve damage he somehow sustained to his paw. We're trying to fix that up now. He's my kitty from heaven, I think. Mon sent him to me so that we can take care of each other.
As for me, I'm a Senior level Communication Design [graphic design] major at Texas Tech University. I have a wonderful boyfriend [ceramacist] of almost two years, and the only thing we DON'T agree on is animals. Unlike me, he wasn't born on a farm, constantly surrounded by wonderful creatures, so he doesn't really understand my severly deep-rooted love towards them all. He loves Luke anyway, and his own rambunctious dog. Even though I'm going into graphic design, I love drawing animation-style characters, mostly lions and wolves and the sort.
That's about it from me. I want to thank everyone who's already helped me out with Luke's nerve damage problem. Everyone here is extraordinarilly nice. I can't wait to see what kind of mischief Luke and I manage to get into here!
