Cat is 9 months. Female. Just got spayed 4 days ago. Today I saw a little runny poop with the solid poop. I have attached an image. She started a new prescription diet (The Hills Science I/D) same day she got spayed because she was throwing up undigested foods. Vet recommended that and she hasn't thrown up so far. But the poop is what concerns me. My question: Is this because she got spayed? Is it normal?

*She is eating/drinking well after her spay surgery. Has been getting lost of rest*

It could be an after effect from the anaesthetic or the change of food. Often if their food is changed without a slow transition it can upset their tummies. Just see her the next poop is, it could be soft just this once.
I agree! :agree:
Actually her poop looks pretty good to me. Sometimes they strain a little at the end of pooping which is why you can see a little runny substance. Just keep an eye on her and if you notice any changes that concern you give your vet a call. Good luck!
