He may just be a domestic short hair, but lovely coat. We had a kitty that looked very much like him growing up, I think the coat is cream classic tabby? (not a professional here just trying to guess). Congratulations on your new addition to the household :)

Yes, this striking pattern is a classic tabby. Called also for marbled, or blotched tabby. It may also be called for bulls-eye tabby, but he has not the typical bullseye.
Perhaps he has some granddad whom was a marbled bengal? - I mean to give these marbles without the typical bullseye.

Where do you live, are bengals common in your country? In the Usa they are, so natural sonsons of bengals are quite common...

Color? The pattern is red, the lines are in creme... I think it will be he is a red classic tabby.

Beautiful cat. And an owner with a beautiful heart.

And this is why i'm not the pro lmao. I find it confusing. When looking at images of 'cream' tabbies, there were variations in lightness..and then I looked at 'red' and the lighter ones looked cream. It must take many years to just learn subtle differences!

:) hello thank you for the information . very much valued to me . as i m going deeper and deeper into my cat by the min ! i stay in India (karnataka) i really don't have a idea of how rare is it to have a cat like this at my home ! he is my 1st cat experience . colour is like shining gold white and a lil feeling of red also in him ... . plus he keeps changing his tone to lil dark and light accordingly to the food .... i see the pattern very clear and dark wen i feed him meat !

I see on the photo you PM:ed me,
1. He does has "the bulls eye". So probably its a goodby to the bengal ancestor. Even if the country Bengal is a part of the great India. :)
He may very well have some Ancestry, but which we dont know.

2. The pale cream furrows are in reality white.
So he is red and white in colors. Carrying both red and white colors.

THIS layout of pattern is somewhat odd, not the usual. The white usually becomes its own spots. but yes occassionally it comes as white furrows in the tabby pattern.

Yes, food and proper nourishment has some influence on colors. If he was homeless or by other reason didnt got proper cat food, his coloring would be worse. Coming into full shine first now, when he gets proper nourishment and getting care.
Its the same with humans, no?

So sis is a spotted tabby? Spotted tabby is stronger, dominates over bulls eye classic tabby. Also, the genes are always in pairs - one from momma, one from daddy. So say a daddy having both genes, one spotted, one classic tabby, is himself spotted, but the children gets one each: one kitten get the classic tabby with the bulls eye, the other kitten get the spotted tabby gene...
