Hi everyone,
A few months ago I acquired my first kitten, Sophie, she is now seven months old. What a fantastic experience it has been so far. She has such a character and sometimes behaves like a dog - playing fetch with her ball (and bird feathers) and never straying more than 10 metres from my side when we are outdoors. Sophie seems to love water, especially running taps which she flicks around with great joy, and she likes to play with the soap bubbles when I'm in the bath. She has lots of different noises she makes, the normal meows and purrs but also a range of chirps and tweets which are very sweet. My friends say they have never seen such a confident kitten and some of them have commented that she must be part-breed because of her markings. Her fur is exceptionally soft, like mink. She does like a lot of attention. Sometimes she fluffs out her tail in a dramatic arc, when she trots along it is bolt upright. She likes to climb and can scale the 12ft wall at the back of my yard (its a bit more of a job coming down though!).
She has been brought up James Wellbeloved kitten food with occasional milky treats.
I wondered if anyone has any comments on wether she could be a hybrid. I saw her with her mother who was a domestic tabby cat but have no idea about her father. Here are some pics, thanks.
