I adopted this kitty from a local shelter where she was turned in as a stray. She is 1.86 lbs. How old do you think she is?

I cannot figure out what to call her coloring, or what mix of breeds she is.

Short version:
-Classic tabby pattern
-All brown, cream, and white.
-Hazel eyes, still have blue on outer edge
-Thick coat. Maybe a double undercoat? What is that called?
-Her entire coat has whitish roots, except for the dark brown on tail and bottom of feet.
-The long furs sticking out aren’t silky.
-The feet all have agouti furs that almost look silver.
-The bottom of feet, and paw pads are all dark brown like the tail.
- How long do you think her coat will get? Medium?

Her color is seal lynx point, and she is either pointed (cs/cs), mink (cs/cb), or sepia (cb/cb). You can tell that she is some variety of pointed cat by looking at how dark her tail is, compared with the brown tabby markings on her back. My guess would be that she will be a shorthair, but sometimes kittens can surprise you and sprout long hair later. No particular breed is jumping out at me; most cats do not belong to any specific breed. She is very pretty!

I’d say seal lynx point Domestic Shorthair. She’s adorable!

Good catch with the dark tail. And thus, Her blue eyes aint because she is still young kitten but because she is a point...

The lynx / tabby pattern is classic tabby. Spots on tummy are nice but common with many tabbies.

Very sweet young cat!
