so we've been beating around the bush about adopting another cat for a couple months. We knew we wanted to adopt and we wanted to preferably adopt an older cat who was already spayed or neutered. Well I was reading the paper and the local animal shelter was holding a half off adoption drive in august. Well by the time I found out it was already the 29th of august and we were leaving on a trip. The shelter agreed to still offer us the special price and they would just hold the cat we wanted. So we picked a black cat who was a few years old and neutered and declawed. We paid them, filled out the paperwork and went home. Well our trip got cancelled so I went to go get our new cat friday. Well even though they had a big sign that said HOLD someone adopted him out anyways
. So we were looking all around for another cat and this little kitten kept pouncing around just being "kitten stupid" as I like to call it so after not liking the other cats there we asked about her and played with her and ofcourse fell in love. So we adopted her. I didn't take her home first off I took her right to the vets and got her put on revolution and have an appointment scheduled for tuesday for her. Anyways got home showed her her food and water and litterbox. She seems to have picked up on the litterbox but we noticed since she came home she's been getting diarrhea that seems to be getting worse. Now granted i'm sure she is stressed also the revolution is also a wormer and i know some wormers cause diarrhea also she came home with a bag of science diet but I have already started offering her nutrisource canned kitten food and i'm mixing blue buffalo dry kitten food in with the science diet dry. As long as she's eating/playing/drinking should I worry or can I wait until her doctor's visit on tuesday to ask them about it. I really can't afford to feed 2 cats all canned so that's why I offer the dry food too. Samara doesn't mind it but the new baby seems to hold out for the canned food I give her in the morning and at night.
