I'm new to this forum so I'm gonna give you a little backstory!
Ok so I have 3 cats, I have an adult cat called cocoa (2yrs approx.) who I took in as a stray after noticing how bad condition she was in. And unknowingly she was also pregnant so I ended up with 4 kittens too but I kept 2 of them- a girl called Panda (9months now) and Marley a boy(9m). So when Marley was 6months old I got him neutered (to avoid incestuous relations lol) and he's always been more like a dog in the way he was so affectionate and clingy and quiet too, constantly lounging about even as a young kitten. The night after I got him neutered he was hyperactive which we weren't expecting and after speaking to my vet she said it was uncommon but normal- but since he was neautered he has been lashing out at me and extremely playful(which I don't mind) he's also still hyperactive and a lot less affectionate apart from a few cuddles here an there- spraying was never a problem as its never occurred. So now onto cocoa who got spayed about 3 weeks ago (we weren't in a rush as they are indoor cats) who is normally a very loving reserved yet sometimes playful and vocal kinda cat. She's never scratched me or anything. She's always been so loving and kind to her two kiddies too up until now. I was told it was understandable in the first 2 weeks for her to be off with the kids after spaying but 3 weeks later and she's turned very territorial about the house- if we open the door she charges to it growling as if there's a stray or something but there isn't and she keeps randomly hissing and trying to attack marley(the boy) but she doesn't do anything to panda(the girl)? Minutes after trying to attack him she will be grooming him and sleeping next to him etc.
I don't understand what is going on exactly as the only changes have been the spay. It seems that everything the vet told us would have had flipped to the total opposite! Does anybody have any idea what could be going on here?

This is Marley
This is little panda
