Need Help With Breed Identity, Abandoned Kitty.

we found this kitty outside our home on my birthday, he was very thin and had a limp. behaved like he was a inside cat but is very aggressive with our other cats so he stays outside. extremely loud and vocal, love petting but hate being picked up. got over excited twice and bit the hell out of my hubby. does not have rabies s

o that is not reason for the biting lol. i really hope to find out what kind of cat this is so i can better integrate it into our home.

I’d describe him as a brown classic tabby Domestic Shorthair. He’s very handsome! He does resemble a Bengal in appearance, so I think it’s possible that he has some Bengal in him.

Agree, his marbles arent the most common of classic tabby.
A bengal granddad is fully possible.

He come to you as a gift of sorts.
Almost peculiar he isnt more easygoing.
Such gifts from Above usually are. But perhaps his task is to be the outside kitty...

thank you for the replies, i feel a little more prepared for this cat if it does have bengal in it lol lotta energy in those breeds

DSH, brown classic tabby, though he looks similar to a bengal, too.

Is he neutered? If he is not neutered yet, it would be a good idea to get that done as soon as you can. Some of his behavior may be due to hormones.
