picked up Inky on saturday and his new name will be Vader, we will post a picture of him once he warms up to us.
You let him outside???Well sorry to upset but this is a bitter sweet story, So Vader got very vicious with us humans only, he seemed to be very scared of males and would always be tense i gave him time until he tired to attack me one night and that was the last straw with him. Times before he had hissed and poped at me but this time he attack me and wasnt actting normal. once i calmed him down he was so scared he pooped himself, so i think some bad things happened to the poor guy, i couldnt afford or allow him to be like that becuase he could get crazy one day and hurt my son real bad so i decided to let him free. He was once a Feral and i could tell he didnt like humans anymore so as a test i opened the door and he darted out the door and ran into the forest i havent seen or heard from him sense. I feel really upset about all of this but i know he feels more at ease than he did here and where he was at one point.
Could you contact a Rescue or Shelter, that deals with feral cats, and borrow a humane trap.
actually he wasn't taken care of and that's why he acted the way he did. I have taken care of feral cats my whole life and when you hurt them they don't trust humans. And that excuse of he is a new car in a new house after almost three weeks wouldn't change my mind , because if he was to hurt my son that's my fault for taking him in. And the term let outside is used wrong, he ran outside on his own and ran as fast as he could away from humans.
@boellp....you did mention before that Inky/Vader is afraid of males.
nothing that we did cuased him to act this way it was prior to us having him that he must have had a bad time. My son is too young to even get near him like that, and none of use hurt animals. I havent seen him around , ill try to get him back but i dont think he will come anywhere near here, in the forest outside there is a nice river and a good area i wouldnt be suprised he stayed.
