I don't envy you the decision about exploratory surgery. It is a tough one. To answer your question, personally, I wouldn't do it with what little information they have provided you with. Like you said, she is so very small. I would rather have more testing done before I would agree to exploratory surgery.
It is a mystery. Glad they ran a leukemia test, but she needs an FIV test, too. It does sound like you are trying a lot of things for her. I agree, Friskies is not bad at all. I like the pate formulas best, as the gravy formulas have higher carbs. My mom always fed her ferals Friskies and they thrived.
So she was 5.25 pounds in November? What does she weigh now?
