Need Advise On Spaying Cat In Heat

She's just fine now, still staying inside the shop, I don't think she wants to leave! I didn't realize how tiny she is, half the size of my cats, I would bet no more than 5 lbs. Out of her cage now and sleeping on the couch in a heated bed, heaven I'm sure for her. I'll keep her in a week just to make sure her heat cycle has completely left. I keep seeing on the internet it does continue even with the spaying. Now I pray I can find her a good inside home, which should be easier now, I don't want her outside here with that deadly street.

Yeah, the existing hormones have to work out of the system before the heat completely resolves, and the toms will want to be at her. NOT what she needs right now (or will ever have to deal with again, thanks to your caring soul!).
