Hello everyone!
I am new here, and to do a quick introduction, I am Chelsea. I have 4 cats, Big Boy-14, Roman-1 1/2, Max-6 months, and Lucky-2 weeks. Lucky was abandoned by her Mama 2 weeks ago & I have had her ever since! She has been doing pretty good so far, vet says she's healthy, etc. I started her on Hartz liquid formula just because a friend had some left over from when her kitten was a baby. I have kept her on that because I was scared to switch her, and she seemed to be doing well on it. First couple days she had some diarrhea, but then it went away and she was pooping normal ever since. For about 2 days now, her poop is a LOT harder. She is still going every day, but it is a lot harder for her to pass. Someone suggested diluting her formula with a little water, which I have been doing since yesterday. I know everyone's top choice is KMR. I am getting ready to go shopping and my question is, do you think it is okay to switch her? I don't want to cause MORE tummy problems, but I know that Hartz is not the best formula. I was thinking of gradually adding a little KMR to her current formula so it is not such a sudden change? Any opinions would be appreciated SO much!!!
