Cold is finally getting better - this is day 10!!!

Glad your cold is better today.

Now that I think I can actually do something today:

• Must get the trash down the driveway before tonight (we are to have freezing rain tonight, and I don't want to have to drag that trash can down the icy driveway....I'd probably fall and break a leg or something, I just know it.)
• Run to the store for more Gatorade, maybe a few slices of cheese for a sandwich, a couple cans of chicken noodle soup, and yogurt (I would kill for a cup of coffee, but that won't stay down....tried it last night. Darn it. Going through caffeine withdrawal.
• I'm having a chat with one of my best GFs; she lives in Texas now, so telephone chats are what we do. We are getting together tonight around 8:00.

Today:

Did 3 loads of laundry (clothes, more clothes, and sheets)

Opened all the windows and let some nice warm air in the house

Visit to the grocery store

I had a nap then baked cupcakes

Walked to the supermarket and home via a gym. I stopped in and discussed body building. I've been toying with the idea for a while. Gyms are not really me though. Decisions decisions.

Exercised and walked my kids to piano lessons and back. I am still without a car.

Feeling pretty good today!

• Working on a bit of laundry (I had to throw in the cats' pillow from the living room window....Amber Louise puked up her breakfast on the pillow this morning. I am so glad she didn't do it before this morning. I'd have gotten sick right with her. I'd been praying the nobody would throw up while I was sick. That would not have been pretty. I started the laundry with a load of cat stuff this morning.)

• Vacuum the living room
• Clean the bathroom (it's not really dirty, but I'd feel better if it was cleaner)

Walked to work and back.

Walked to nearest train station and back to show my house guest the way - so she can get there her self early tomorrow morning.

Threw biscuits for Mouse to chase.

Argh, seems quite a few of us are dealing with the "yukkies".... I am getting over a bad one myself. Finally have my energy back but have SO much to catch up on.

1. Grocery store - post office to mail a package.
2. Tons of laundry - argh. four loads - human and pet. :lol3:
3. Got the oil changed on the truck.

Yes, Aliana's Mom, Amber is fine, thank you. She gets the pukies every once in a while after breakfast. Not all the time, thankfully. I'm just glad that it was a relatively easy clean-up yesterday. Lauren, I hope you're feeling better.

• This is my first (and last....since it's Friday!) day of work this week, so I need to get through today
• Stopped at the post office this morning on my way to work to mail a birthday card to Rick's dad....he is 91 years old (I think) today. I'm late with the card, but they know it's coming; they know I really haven't been out of the house all that much this week. He'll probably get it tomorrow. And once I know I'm OK, I'll make a birthday dinner for him. So it's all OK; he understand

And I think that's it for my Friday. Til I get home from work and get the cats fed and the boxes scooped, I'm going to be ready to kick back and play some laser tag with the kids for a while. No laundry, no vacuuming, nothing. Tomorrow is another day.

More laundry.

Checked on my lilies - still haven't bloomed yet, but the buds seem just about ready to burst.

Scoop and wash out the litter box.

A couple of loads of laundry.

Scooped poop (may have to do that before bed or Mouse may protest)

Tidy and vacuum the apartment.

I am living in a pit and no one to blame but me.....

I am so ready for Rick to get home today. Glad when he's gone, glad when he comes back.....and I know how stupid that sounds

• Changing the bed sheets. Just took them off, threw them in the washer and dryer, and will throw them back on the bed. (Not doing any more laundry today, because I know there will be a pile of Rick's stuff tomorrow to work on.)
• Scoop litter boxes when I'm done on the forum
• A quick vacuum and dust throughout the house, nothing fancy

Dumped & cleaned the litter box,

Got my garden weeded & ready for planting soon!

Its Monday tomorrow so I need to get clothes in order for the week. That includes washng, folding, packing away.

After snoozing the entire morning away I managed to:

Do 2 loads of laundry and get them hung up to dry.

Vacuum the apartment.

Wash all the dirty dishes that were taking over the sink and spreading out on to the work top...

Tomorrow I need to get my self cleaned up too as heading out to meet a friend for coffee in the monring.

Changing the cat litter and hopefully I will get my car back so I don't have to carry the litter home.
