Went to Calgary, bought my ol'man a birthday present and GOT ENGAGED!!!

Now how cool is that?! Congratulations!! 

• Taking the Christmas tree down this afternoon (I hope so; it's time, even though dear Richard doesn't agree) and the do a complete vacuuming in the living room

• Change and wash the bed sheets

• Clip claws and clean Miss Tabby's ears

Took my daughter to the hospital to get her rash checked again

Got her prescription filled

Will go to the in laws for dinner tonight

          What a day. CONGRATULATIONS   

All I did was, sleep in, ended up having to take my car to work so I wasn't late, then played with Mouse when I got home because I'd run off and left him when I got up earlier!

Filled out the final adoption application for Belle (my new dog). She'll be moving in tomorrow! 

 Miki and I are so excited.

Gave Miki a bath.

Went grocery shopping.

Don't want your forthcoming adoption to be completely overshaddowed by Moddymomma's engagement.   

  I hope Miki is still excited in a good way tomorrow when said doggy arrives tomorrow!  Not so sure Miki having a bath was the kindest way to spend the day before this new arrival!

So far today, all I've managed to do is the dishes. My daughter has been miserable (I would be too if I was covered in a rash like she is). I still have to make dinner and I will shower when my husband gets home.

Wash the bed linen for my bed and the spare room

Clear out space in my cupboards for a volunteer who is coming to stay with me for a few weeks.

Drove to summer holiday destination.
