He is a 5 year old DLH, but he had to get shaved due to his body being completely covered it mattes and sores. Im looking forwar to seeing what he will look like when it all grows back in
He is such a loving boy- as Im writing this he is curled up in my lap purring away. He is currently living with two other cats, Ziggy, a short haired Maine Coon mix, and Sirus, a DSH. They get along now but Ziggy took a while to warm up to the new guy.
He has a reccuring sneeze we are having checked out at the vet Sunday~ hopefully its nothing too serious.
We are both excited to be hereHey, Bennie! Welcome to the site. You are handsome. Back in the 1970's I rescued a large male cat off of the street. He was a mess. Took him to the vet. Got him fixed and shots and cleaned up. We called him "Herk" after the Greek god Hercules. He had some large scars on the bridge of his nose from fights according to the vet. That made him give small sneezes about one every 30 seconds. Other than that he was a wonderful friend and addition to our family. Hopefully, that's all Bennie has.
