I wanted to share a few pictures of my outdoor setup for my 2 ferals. I so wanted a warm place for them with protection from the elements. DH built a feral villa last year that he modified this year to add a back exit as well as a small window. Still no tackers. I currently have it up on a table so the raccoons cannot get to it and place some dry food in it at night. I also have 2 feeding stations and then of course the Shed in a Box! It's a 6x6 shed that has room to place my outdoor love seat. I have 2 outdoor heated pads on each end and then under the tan blanket is a thermal heated blanket. Shadow doesn't want to have anything to do with the heated pads, but Patches enjoys them when it's really cold. I find them each and every morning snuggled up together. I am so happy they have each other. The shed is positioned so very little wind gets inside. Most of the wind blows the other directions. We had 5" of rain in November and not a drop got inside or blew inside. I wish I could put the front flap down all the way or part of the way, but I do know they need to see out. They adjusted so easily to the shed. I was worried since when the wind blows you can hear it flapping a bit. It is bolted down to the deck so it will not blow over. The boys just love it. I even placed a small string of Christmas lights inside so I can see them from inside the house at night.
I just wanted to share my set up in hopes that someone else might benefit from it too. The shed in a box was purchased from Home Depot for just over $100.
