This would make me suspect of something about genes. But also... do they eat cold food? Like a lot of us here give some of the wet food and take the rest back to the fridge. Do you do that too? If yes, do you wait until it's warmed up? What about the water they drink from the bowl or tap -- is it cold?

I would also suspect of everything that causes heartburn or oversalivating. Dental issues, acid reflux/gastritis to name a few. I haven't seen it if you mentioned on the thread but do they throw up? If so how frequently? Do they get wet burps they swallow right back?
Water is room temperature. Sometimes the food is room temperature and other times its served cold mainly because I cant leave it out overnight till morning unless its frozen

They might be eating too cold that affect their tonsils. I would definitely change this.

I see. Usually I feed them once in the morning and once in the evening. In the morning I feed them before work and I'm feeding them raw food. How can I prepare it so it will be warm in the mornings without risking it spoiling?

It's also much better if they eat smaller meals throughout the day - it's easier on their digestion. And if they do have digestive issues, as I said they will get heartburn or alike and that will be an even bigger problem with two big meals.

I don't have experience on raw feeding but we have some users who do. They might have some feeder suggestions or warming up the food? Paging @Azazel...

Measure it to a plastic baggie and press the portion flat within the baggie while running it under lukewarm water. The flatter you press the portion, the faster it will all warm up. Not very long. I sometimes do this for Krista but she'll eat it cold too.

This was Ginger when I first got him and when he was sick. I didnt know what a kitty flu was at the time but he was hardly able to breathe.

I don't know whats wrong with Ginger. The last two days he has been relentless and seems to have a high amount of anxiety.
He will yeowl and yeowl all day and then start scratching and pulling at my door, and if I open it, he'll do the same to the next closed door he finds even if there's nothing inside of it and seems extremely restless..wandering around yeowling at nothing and will randomly come to me and grab my feet and start grinding and biting them.. then he'll start chewing and grinding on my clothes. He went to my bed matress and started sniffing around and then started to try to bite certain sections of it when there was no previous food anywhere near there. If I give him food he'll literally whisk it down like he is starving. He seems like he is always and I mean, ALWAYS hungry...even after being fed. I have to feed the other cats in a seperate room from him because he will finish his food MUCH faster than they finish theirs, husk over to them and start trying to take their food yet the vets can't find anything wrong with him.

First of all - I know you said that the thyroid tests came back fine, but I am curious about any notations that might have been made in the results. There is a notation that was made on Feeby's last thyroid test that I am curious if your results have a similar note. Her count - at 3.2 - is 'in range' and she didn't demonstrate enough signs of a thyroid issue to pursue further, so we did not have the additional testing done. I've inserted the note below. If such a note exists on yours, you might want to ask the vet about the additional testing that can be done. I also think you need to ask about any testing that was done - or, could be done - to look for a thyroid tumor, and if a tumor could cause Ginger's behavior.

Secondly, I think it is time to ask your vet about consulting with a specialist or a vet university. Something is going on and the cause has yet to be found.

When Feeby (15+ yo) became very verbal and restless, she was trying to tell me something was wrong. I was wondering whether she might have been demonstrating some senility, but it turns out she had fleas for the first time in her life and it freaked her out so bad that she began having health issues from it. I am not saying that Ginger has fleas - what I am saying is that he is trying to tell you something. Of course at both Ginger's age and Feeby's, there could be some senility setting in, but health issues must be investigated and resolved first before defaulting to senility.
