Hello! A stray cat adopted me in November 2013 for food and shelter. Now, she is pregnant. I found out she was pregnant on the week of Valentine's Day. I noticed her nipples were swollen and her belly was round. I honestly finished getting out of her old litter (neighbor's abandoned the cats). I found out last week that a local animal league will spay her for free but I plan to have that happen after birth. So! Whats the problem? The cat, known as Mama, is starting to want to stay inside my house instead of the porch (closed porch) and purrs a lot more than usual. She hasn't milked yet but I think she is starting to nest. I felt a little movement for the first time last week, too. The day I discovered the movement in her womb was February 26th. People say kittens start to move around 7 weeks but it could have been happening prior to the discovery. These movements are weak and hardly noticeable. Her belly has minor twitches and feels like blood pulses when the kittens move. I don't know how far along she is now. As of now, I'm judging her to be 8 weeks. When do kittens start to really kick hard enough to be seen by the naked eye? It is obvious she is pregnant since her belly is visible when she walks. I will post a video of the belly below. Anyone else can assume far she is?
This is a picture of her nipple on the 20th of February or before that. (Forgot)
This is her on my lap wanting to have a picture taken (sleepy too).
This is blurry but this is her belly from the side. (Other cat was one of her older kittens, about 5 months now)
This is her yesterday getting comfy and purring.
