My Kitty's Age and Breed??

So I just recently got this little cat/kitten & can't figure out the breed! ​

What a lovely cat! Is it a boy or a girl? What's your cat's name?

I would describe your cat as a seal lynx point domestic shorthair. "Lynx point" means tabby point. "Seal" is the pointed version of black. Most cats aren't any particular breed, so we call them domestic shorthair or longhair, based on coat length. This doesn't make them any less special, though... Domestic shorthairs are great cats!

It's hard to tell from a picture! Not a young kitten anyway. A vet can make an educated guess by looking at their teeth and eyes, so ask them for an estimate the next time you take the kitty in.
